 There's a new project that hardly anyone knows of with two of today's great actors: Spider-Man 3 star Kirsten Dunst and Hot Fuzz star Simon Pegg. The movie is titled How to Lose Friends & Alienate People and is a comedy directed by Robert B. Weide, who's most well known for creating the television show “Curb Your Enthusiasm“. The film is based off of a book of memoirs by Toby Young of the same name. Earlier today Kirsten Dunst commented on the film while promoting Spider-Man 3 and its current production state - and it sounds better than ever!
The film is about a British writer who struggles to fit in at a high-profile magazine (a faux Vanity Fair) in New York. Kirsten describes the film and her role in it.[url=][/url]

It's basically, he plays a writer from London who's very controversial who comes to the Vanity Fair and it's all about the goings-on in that whole celebrity gossip world. Kirsten also commented on her reaction when reading the script:

“It's such a well written script, I was just like ‘yes', even before I finished it. I've always done comedies though, I want to do something fun next.”</BLOCKQUOTE>
And the best part of all, she said “It makes fun of so many people in such a good way”. I can't wait to see a damn good comedy with Simon Pegg and Kirsten Dunst that makes fun of celebrity gossip and celebrities! This just sounds awesome. Besides that, each of their two current movies are worth seeing - Spider-Man 3 and Hot Fuzz.

Dunst devrait jouer le rôle d'une journaliste chez Vanity Fair , sans révéler si oui ou non, elle avait une liaison avec Young (Pegg).
Le film sera dirigé par Robert B. Weide, avec une sortie prévue pour 2008. Durant l'entretien, elle a confirmé qu'elle serait bel et bien Debbie Harry dans le biopic consacré à la chanteuse du groupe new-yorkais Blondie. |

| Jeff Bridges, whose turn as the Dude in "The Big Lebowski" gave him instant cult status, has joined the cast of "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People" alongside "Spider-Man" star Kirsten Dunst and British comedy actor Simon Pegg ("Hot Fuzz").
Producer Stephen Woolley said inking Bridges to play Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter for the Robert B. Weide-directed adaptation of Toby Young's comic novel of the same name was key to his plans for it. He said securing Bridges had been a long labor of love because date conflicts had meant he had originally been unavailable.
le tournage commence le 4 juin prochain à LONDRES et NEW YORK!!!!
